  1. The Hornets are not just a close team, they are like family. And they are mourning. So for all of you in despair over the recent three game skid, fear not. Rumors of the Hornets demise has been greatly exaggerated. Hornetshype.com is the first to report what this is all about.

Rockets beat us 100-80? Tribute to Bobby Jackson, lost in a trade with that very team. Spurs beat us 98-89? Tribute to Marcus Vinicius. Wizards beat us 95-92? Tribute to Adam Haluska. This was a full team boycott over the loss of three family members. Seriously, have you ever seen a team work harder to lose than they did last night? Washington could just not pull ahead without us even trying. (And boy is Deshawn Stevenson going to regret his madness-induced jersey pumping at the crowd next Sunday when we go into the Capitol and off the opening tip Mo-Pete punches him straight in the face, steals the ball, and dunks it before a stunned crowd.)

So. Three lost team members. Three lost games. An honorable tribute. No more, no less. Suns beware. You heard it first here.

  2. I expect us to burn DC to the ground next Sunday.
