On this day of many posts and more to come, I just want to send a huge shout out to the airport crew, the Asylum, the BeerGardeners, the G.B.ers, the boarders, the ladies at the Abita tap on the 100 level (you rock!), the Back Row (represent!), 247, At the Hive, and all the awesome people we’ve met over the course of this season!
And you know, when I started this blog, I had a sinking feeling that New Orleans would never come through for this team. And they’d never meet the benchmark. And just when things were starting to get great, the team would leave. Ladies and gentlemen, this is going to be my final CrowdWatch of the year, because last night’s sellout put the Hornets’ attendance over the benchmark of 14,735 for the first time.
56-26.
Now breathe. And get ready to take it higher.

I know, I loved it. It’s what they played at the game Tuesday after they passed out the hats and shirts. The team all watched it on the jumbotron.

That clip is just… what a season it has been, I am proud of being a Hornets fan right now. Well I was since the early 90’s but this franchise record season, Chris Paul and all of the players and the bond between the fans around the world that became so strong this year is just incredbile. Cheers to the airport crew, ppl from Hr and other places plus all the international fans. Now lets finish this remarkable seasone with a Ring, not any ring CHAMPIONSHIP RING BABY !
And to you Ticktock, great work by you and Mike on everything, the MVP video is just superb with the music and everything, you deserved to win that award and this blog has a bright future ahead of it, keep showing us fan reactions and everything that we fans that aren’t in NO can’t see on the regular Nba marketing scheme where they portray just one team star to be most important and not the supporting crew nor the fans. Great work at what you do !
IT’S PLAYOFFS TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We, Hornets fans, already are winners.

One of the best parts of the video, seeing it live in the Arena, was watching the players watch it. They were all so juiced to have achieved the goal of winning the division and it was nice for them to be able to take a deep breath, acknowledge what they had done, and to be able to enjoy it.
