I totally saw those too! By far the most mind boggling pump-up method I’ve ever seen. What are you supposed to do if you’re in the crowd and one of those things goes flying past you?

I almost died at the crazy dance they did at center court. Of the players, at least Bonzi Wells appeared to be cracking up too. How could you not?

I don’t know just what it is that makes it so priceless… the fact that the head is goofy looking? The fact that it looks like a giant popsicle? (PejSicle?) It’s actually EVEN FUNNIER on TV, if that’s possible. I did a double take while watching Game One on ESPN. Like, “Wait, did a GIANT PEJA HEAD ON A STICK JUST RUN BY BEHIND THE BENCH? No, I must have hallucinated.”

Ahhh, I had the EXACt same reaction watching it. Then the next time he made a three, I saw three heads run by and I knew I couldn’t be dreaming it.

I don’t know about you guys, but if I was an opposing player, and i saw a giant Peja head on a stick run by me, I would honestly believe I was in the Twilight Zone.

Good call, Mikey. Never thought of how it would affect the opposing players. I’d wager that at least one Mav probably pissed himself.

They should make up a Peja-on-a-Stick snack to sell in the arena… hand mini-Pejas out instead of the stupid Geico cavemen to wave around during free throws… the possibilities are endless.

I really want to make my own “Peja on a stick” for tomorrow’s game in dallas. I fear I can’t make it too big though or else it won’t get past security. And if I make it too small nobody will see it.

Peja on a stick? That’s pretty much how Bruce Bowen has had Peja during his career. He’s also had him fricassee, poached and al dente.
