If you were at the game Saturday night and missed the TNT broadcast, here are the WIRED segments for that night’s games:

Of special note? Byron Scott’s pre-game words to the team. He’s got his Lakers rings laid out on the table in the locker room, in their little velvet boxes. “It’s pretty simple,” he says. “This is what they got. This is what we want. We have a chance to do something real special this season. We do. This is another team that’s, basically, in our way.”
Let’s take them out of the way.

To quote Ludacris:
“Move bitch, get out the way”
I think the Hornets play well to that song…..
“Hey Manu! Don’t shoot any more. Pass the ball.”
Manu gave him no love there, just looked at him like he was a crazy man.
Quick, irrelevant question those those in the know:
Do the bees play that “S.ac” song ‘BUZZ ’08′ (‘Take me downtown just South of the Dome tonight…’) during games?
@ Mark, they did a few times during pregame or halftime right when that song came out near the end of the regular season. But I haven’t seen it in awhile.
Thank mW. It’s a shame, since it’s an original neat-o hype tune, unlike a stupid Dallas Mavericks song we had where we took that Will Smith tune about Miami ‘Welcome to Miami’ and said ‘Welcome to Dallas’ or something. Whatever it was, it was super lame and unoriginal.
I blame our loss in the Finals to that song.
In fact I hate all the new playoff music. Haven’t we beaten enough people in the postseason that we can bring back the “Ladies and Gentlemen” countdown song where it X-ed out the Hornets’ wins?? I also liked the Kanye intro better than “random metal that I don’t think has any lyrics.”
I’m gonna ditto the “Ladies and Gentlemen” call. But I veto anything by Kanye if it includes lyrics.
