In my not-to-brief roundup of the stories of the game still talk about the Spurs lost as opposed to how the Hornets opened up a case of whoop-ass and drowned the Spurs in it.
*adjusting my red tie* No respect. No respect at all….
It was a giant economy sized crate of whoop-ass.
The hornets not only held their ground at home they destroyed the spurs, for us to win a championship we have to be able to win on the road and who better to get experience with than the former champions. If we can win one of these two on the road I think we can steal one against l.a.(who we’ll most likely play in the western conference finals). Paul and West have to continue their stellar play(I mean 10-10-5 on a bad day…..that’s pretty good for an off day).
The Hornets have been buying their whoop-ass at Costco and buying them out.
WOOOOO!! Getting psyched up for one-on-the-road already!
I think it’s pretty clear that the Hornets are outcoaching the Spurs and the Spurs haven’t found an answer. Based on the fact that both play at their best when they don’t try to make changes to adapt to other teams, but just do what they do, I’m not sure how the Spurs can win this one, even if they take one (or even two) at home.
