I thought it was funny.
But, you know, she doesnt look as good naked as youd think. Kind of disappointing too, especially after getting rids of the entrouage AND the papparazzi…. geez! Youd think it would be a little easier, you know?
It was great. I approve of the psych out.
HAHAHAHA! That rocks!
i’m laughing my ass off. hahahaha
It’s evil, but it’s funny.
hey did anyone notice the guy doing the funny dance during tim duncans free throws? they showed a few seconds on tnt but no one i know saw it. i believe it was in the 2nd maybe third quarter he put his hands on his knees and rocked back and forth i bee-lieve this dance is known as the butterfly please someone had to have seen this brilliant display of drunken fandom put on by this man who took FAN UP to a whole new level!
I did NOT see that, but I would have loved to!!
He was doing the “Charleston” – the knee knocker dance. It’s totally crazy which makes me approve of it!
yea tony parker gets to skeet all over the real one…that dude gets to skeet all over her cardboard cutout
its fucked up…but funny as hell
You know, I thought the okay thing about the Eva standup was that the guy wasn’t a jerk the whole game. That is, he didn’t hold it up every time Parker came down the court. He waited until the critical stretch near the end and just whipped it out as a total out-of-the-blue psych out. I think it would have been a little bit more crude if he did it every time Parker showed his face at that end of the court. But as a surprise, clutch-moment psychological assault? Awesome.
I dunno… In the heat of the moment I wholly approved of the poster, because I could really care less about the warm and fuzzy feelings of the enemy. I just want to snuff them out and move on to the next mission. In hindsight, I do think it hit a little close to home. He’s not the 1st player to have a famous wife, but I don’t recall seeing posters of Vanessa Williams when Rick Fox was shooting FT for the Lakers in the late 90′s/early 2000′s. And they could have gotten REALLY creative, you know, with all her penthouse stuff and all. Creative, yes; funny, you betcha; in bad taste, definitely; should he have had it taken away, without a doubt.
I guess what I’m really saying is that I would’ve saved it for game 7.
Meh… he was missing free throws left and right (HA. HA. Best unintentional pun ever!) in this series before the poster came into play. I kind of think she posed like that… and since she did, and it was her choice, it’s up for grabs.
[...] * Nicola Olic from HOOPSWORLD was able to secure an interview with the two fans in New Orleans who brought the lifesize poster of Eva Longoria to Game 5 which distracted Tony Parker while he was shooting two crucial free throws. [...]
