Actually, prior to us getting TrueHoop and NBA blog links, some of our highest hits came from Honeybee posts, rare as they were. So…I’ll pass the idea to our Marketing Department and see if the New Concepts committee approves it…

I’m in Toronto and I’m glad Mo is playing well in the playoffs. He is still a huge fan favourite here. He got a standing ovation when the Hornets played the Raptors here in late March.

ticktock6, one Mo YouTube video that is very popular is the circus shot against the Wizards back in March 2007. He made a ton of those tough shots when he was a Raptor.

One nickname that former Raptor TV voice Chuck Swirsky used is “that’s a MP3 download” (everytime Mo hit a three-point shot).

Thing about Peterson early in the season the hornets were automatic from three, but once the league got notice of it and made it much harder that’s when peterson started to struggle abit. He’s always been a great all around shooter and after it took awhile I’m glad he’s taking more two’s and driving to the basket more. His clutch shooting is necessary for us to finish strong this season so I’m really glad to see him pick it up in the post season(also props to our other three point threat Peja for showing people he isn’t a choke artist in the playoffs, he’s maybe had maybe one or two bad games so far). So lets go Hornets, lets finish off these spurs and head into the western conference finals so we can finish this season the right way, with a championship.

Mikey– Also, if you do a quick internet search you realize that people in Toronto LOVE Mo Pete. Still do. Gotta be a reason for that. (Actually I found some pretty good MoPete YouTube stuff… gonna have to remember that for later posts.) I’m glad to see him getting more time, and he’s really seemed to step it up a notch in the playoffs.

All I’m gonna say is there is a reason that Jeff Bower and Byron Scott have been after this dude for the past 2 or 3 offseasons. I really think that Mo’s back hurt him more throughout the season than anyone would care to admit. What we’re seeing now is a healthy Peterson. Mateen Cleaves would be so proud. As would Joe Block, the Hornets radio voice from the Hornets Studio and Gordon Biersch, for that matter. Block is a Michigan State alum just like Mo Pete.
