I’m planning on doing an inventory of any extra Hornets freebies we’ve accumulated over the course of the playoffs. FYI, it’s going to end up going something like, “20 cheer cards, 6 Pejas on Sticks, 2 XL Fan Up! t-shirts, 5 posters, 1 towel, and 4 GEAUX HORNETS car decals.” No, seriously. There is a crawl space behind our entertainment center where we have just been chucking the extras for the last month and a half. If you are an out of town fan and you’d be interested in random Hornets freebies, check back here in the beginning of June. I’ll see if I can try to put something in the mail to you guys.
UPDATE: OK, so I know for a fact I am not going to have a FAN UP t-shirt for everyone who wants one (I’m talking 2-3 tops, all gold, because I was in Tampa for the teal game and because the white one is the only one that is a M and remotely fits me so I’m keeping it), so I wanted to let you know that there are currently several on EBay. I typed in “New Orleans Hornets fan up” and a bunch of them in different colors popped up. I’ll even link you the search.

What would I have to do to get a Peja bobblehead? I couldn’t make the game because my aunt died and her funeral was in Quitman, MS so I sent a co-worker and told him to GET ME A PEJA BOBBLEHEAD; FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION. He tells me he showed up @ 6:30, which was 30 minutes after the doors were opened and came up empty.
So, he was promptly executed.
I’m willing to exchange bobbleheads. CP3 or Tyson. It’s not for me, it’s for my brother.

TickTock, if you could find it in your heart to send a T-shirt our way … my husband & I rotated our season tickets for the Playoffs, and every game we got was a Towel give-away! We never had the privelege of getting any of the Fan Up T’s

So, I’m an out-of-towner moving much closer to town in two weeks, but I’d be ecstatic to get my hands on some 2008 playoff schwag to add to my collection of:
A NOH car flag, some purple molded plastic clapping things, and a Jamal Mashburn celebriduck, all circa 2002-2004.
And since I’m late to the table, I call for a contest of some sort. Make these people earn it!

I’m finishing up my school year and then going out of town, so I’m not even sure yet A) what I’m going to have, and B) how to divvy it up. I’m open to suggestions. We could have a contest.
I just wanted to post today before I took a break so people would know to check back. Like after June 2. I kind of can’t deal with going thru all that stuff at the moment and I’m also mad busy with life… sorry!

BUMPER STICKERS ARE THE BEST! I couldn’t make it to the games because I was dead at the time. Also a witch turned me into a newt. Also I live in Australia. You can stay at my house if you come visit. Yeah, this is probably going to spiral out of control, but to Hell with it, I want in! Whoever gets stuff should either SASE or pay for shipping; it’s the least we could do.
According to the eBay pictures, the shirts look to be “Gildan: Ultra Cotton” tee’s (a pretty staple brand for free tees. Hooray college!). Unless they decided on altering the sizing, here are some amateur measurements of said brand, courtesy of my wardrobe.
M (new): Chest circumference 39″ Length 25″
L (new): Chest circumference 42.5″ Length 25.5″
XL (shrunk): Chest circumference 44.5″ Length 28″
Usually 100% cotton, pretty standard breathability and thickness. The screenprint may vary, but the ones I have hold up to negligent washing.
P.S. In case you’re wondering, I DO have a penchant for textiles, especially regarding athletic apparel.
