In my mind, D-West is, like, this superhero of extreme badassery who possesses special powers that allow him to somehow mentally deflect sweat from his eyes, despite the fact that he shaves his head completely bald and never wears a headband.
Therefore, the pics that accompany this SLAM Q&A with David West disrupt the fabric of my universe in so many ways. That is all.

ticktock, I bet he is the same guy inside and he will once again work his superhero powers during the season. Think of this the other way, maybe he is just hiding his alter ego behind those hair, maybe he has to do the same thing as Clark Kent. People finally did notice DX this year and maybe he wants to make them think that now he is this gentle guy who will not destroy them night by night. But they are WRONG and we all know it! GO DX !!

That is true. OK, so the hair is like the glasses. I can accept that.

Yeah, DWest with hair is strange, but I was stoked that Nike were giving him a two-page spread in SLAM. Never thought I’d see that.

*In a fetal position, rocking back and forth*
“I’m OK, youre OK. I’m OK, youre OK. Im OK, youre OK…..”
He looks like……a kid.

Wow, I can’t believe that’s David West. See now that looks like David “Fluffy” West that we named at Hornets247.com last season.
I always see him as a beast who will eat you and tear your organs apart on the court, not this humble guy. It’s pretty damn funny.
I can’t wait for this season!!

‘You know, I’m just grateful these days. I remember when I didn’t have a lot of options, and now I have more than a few.’
Hard to believe that’s coming from someone getting paid, much less in the league. I’d probably be flaunting my money if I could, but alas, I have none, haha.
Always a big fan of DX, this interview doesn’t disappoint. Thanks hype.

We should all go to the Alario Center Saturday holding signs in the parking lot “THE JOURNEY BEGINS TODAY! LET’S DO IT” or something to that effect. haha.

He definitely looks about 5 years younger, right? Don’t get me wrong, D West getting some cred is great… I had just never seen him with hair! I had to look several times.

Oh, and now that the team is back in town, I totally want to stalk them around waving excited signs. Um, out of love, though, people!
Not dangerous stalking. I promise. Really.

Seriously! When time at Alario?

I was half-kidding before, but if people really wanted to go I could probably join if it is at a reasonable hour.

Sadly, I am sick so in actuality I will probably spend the weekend sleeping… but I’m still excited the team is back practicing! Media Day is today, so there should be some good pics coming out with that.
