The big thing for Mike James here (in Texas) was: ‘Mike James!! Who? Mike James!!’. Even the announcers were yelling it, which effectively ruins any potential of it becoming ‘cool’ with the kids.

This, of course, in reference to Houston, TX native Mike Jones (the rapper) when he had somewhat national exposure during ~2005. This, also, during Mike James’ tenure with the Houston Rockets. Mike Jones had a running-gag of yelling ‘Who?’ on stage because his common name, in which the crowd would respond ‘Mike Jones!!’.
