Hornets Hype

grassroots growing strong

And it is a classic.

It’s Mike James asking the questions, and doing the answers. (Scroll down, and it’s the Hornets Insider from 10/23.)

Highlights: In the beginning of the interview, D. West is singing in the background. (Mike James: David West cannot sing.) And James and his kids filmed an episode of Supernanny that’s going to air on ABC. (Mike James: We fought the whole time… But she did throw me in the pool.)

Seriously, listen to it. I’m totally glad the Hornets went with Mike James. Pargo couldn’t interview himself. He couldn’t even spell Tchoupitoulas. What-EVER.

  1. Matt - Storm Surge says:

I heard the way he was asking himself questions in my dreams “MIke James….”

    That was funny.

  2. “Mike James, …”

  3. Now all he has to do is learn how to run the Hornets offense…

  4. Off topic, but it would be nice to add a comments section to the S#*T LIST. I have some thoughts…

As in Ian Thomsen at SI should lose his job for writing such a stupid article. “The Hornets won’t win a championship because they lack that No. 2 Star along side Chris Paul.” Uhm yes, we have this ALL-STAR named David West on this team in case you forgot. Or did the nickname “Fluffy” just mislead him…. who knows.

Apparently, neither do the Lakers according to him, that’s why they won’t win too.

But, Cavs & Pistons both have better chances than the Lakers & Hornets. What’s he smoking on??

  5. Hmmm, I just tried to add comments but for some reason it won’t show up. Sigh. Will have to figure out what’s up with that.

I’m glad you’re on the same page with SI. So basically… the team that barely made it to the conference finals is not only going to make it again this year, but they’re going to beat the team that destroyed them? Yeah. With no reasons WHY and no major roster changes for either and the weaker team being even older? Yeah.

And New Orleans and LA totally have more behind CP and Kobe than Cleveland has behind LeBron.
