They totally cut to our sign on the jumbotron as James Posey shot his free throws after various acts of world domination in the 4th quarter. So the team is 1-0 when we display Posey signage.
The only thing I am disappointed about is that I can’t find any pictures of Varejao’s fro vs. Melvin Ely’s fro.
In other news, the sun came up this morning, trees are green, and Chris Paul and David West were beastly.

Was the game sold out tonight? It says there were 18,000+ at the arena, but there seemed to be a lot of empty seats in the arena
Great signage. It’s good for new players to feel the love. It’ll help their game if they are comfortable with their fans.

In this game James Posey played point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward, thief, wide receiver, roller derby enforcer, and heart surgeon. He also made my kid a balloon on the way in, helped my grandmother across Poydras Street, and did Melvin’s hair before the game. Can we pay him more?
He will if he can make Mike James play good, I guess he would get his remaining contract for the next two season

NoEngineer, Posey served me my 2nd quarter Milkshake too… the dude’s motor just doesn’t stop. I hope Ju Ju is watching and copying everything that Posey does, because he has the tools to make the same impact on games. They can have like a master-apprentice type relationship…. Obi Wan J-Posey and his padawan learner Ju Ju Skywalker (and given his leaping ability, that isn’t a bad nickname for the kid). Yes… I’m a nerd!

I don’t know why but i feel posey has rubbed off on rasual more than Jw but that’s just me, they are killing as backups with the three ball but also the first game the defense was just so solid. Watching DW and chandler just the way they handled the paint I hope they do that in every game because offensively we were dominate but this year wow…..defense is awesome. Also watching CP3 lately he is more offensive minded this year a lot of times he’d pass the ball he drives the lane I have seen so that will make us a better unit i believe since he has a better chance of making the shot than others.

1. It was super loud in the 4th quarter. Once they busted out “Shout!” I knew it was all over for the Cavs.
2. There was one large booing, but it didn’t last long.
3. Maybe you could have helped sustain the booing. I think the crowd got to them anyway without it. Just happened the noise kicked in just as their frustration was setting in. Fun how that happens.
4. Posey parted the waters of Lake Pontchartrain and walked to Slidell today. It is known.
EVERYONE has a man crush, supposedly, on Posey. Except for me, because I am, in fact, a woman. So, I guess the answer is, pretty awesome, and yes.

I’m stoked that Rasual Butler rose from the ashes at Phoenix (yeah, sorry) and looks to be a great source of points off the bench.
My boos are simply the best in the NBA. When the arena has given up the booing, I’ll be that punk still going and usually I’ll pick up a few stragglers. Man, the 22nd can’t come fast enough for me. I think it will be my best boo-refic visit to the hive. I’ll be extra angst ridden that game for a couple of reasons: 1.) I turn 30 this November 11th which means I am officially not a kid. 2.) It’s the f’n Thunder and not the SuperSonics! Stealing teams is cool? I say “BOO” to you OKC Thunder. 3.) I will have missed six home games! The Lakers with fake 07-08 MVP Kobe! GAH!
Indeed the fierceness of New Orleanians’ “Shout!” has been known to level cities and lay waste to entire nations… especially when there are Peja heads.
Also, for occasions when Peja is out, maybe they should make a Rasual Butler head. Personally I think Posey is just too badass for a head, but I bet they could come up with a goofy pic for Rasual.
Heads on sticks for threeeeeeeeeee! That sucks about missing the Lakers game, though.
