my opinion on byron scott has changed dramatically since the boston game on friday. i’m still mad with his decision making and stubborness. it could be worse like having larry brown as the coach.

I think he was hesitating with the three because Peja has been cold this year from beyond the arc and mo pete has also been inconsistent. We need to just chain them both up behind the three point line and force them to shoot all day long.

Yeah. The big problem at the 4 spot is the whole offense. Defensively, I believe there’s nothing DX can do that Ely and Bowen can’t do (albeit, more aggression and fouling), but on the offensive end, DX is one of our only guys who consistently calls and goes on isolation, effectively creating his own shot. That is a major problem when you have a gaping hole at that position, cause they can get weakside help on CP, because you know damn sure Ely nor Bowen will roll to the basket well, nor settle for an outside j.

Fluff is our special lil’ guy since he’s (A) still underrated, and (B) so versatile. He’s got effective post and mid-range (and a limited 20-ish range)… the only thing he doesn’t seem to do all too often is dunk, from the limited experience I’ve seen him in.

I’m still very positive on Devin Brown, especially after seeing him on the ground kicking his legs up in effort to secure the ball today (granted, it failed to succeed…). It was just so comical and enthusiastic, I had to give him another chance.

I think the 2 is golden between Mo and Rasual. The three is fine between Peja and Posey/Julian. I’d also say the 5 is fine with TC then Hilton. And if AD works out as back-up at the 1, sweet. It’s the four. Do we go from West to Marks? To Ely? What about that Bowen guy? Or maybe Julian/Pose fit in on the 4. Shit, Pose played extended minutes tonight at the 5. I never, never, thought that would have worked.

Haha. I don’t think Pargo will be back for the Hornets, honestly. I presume Daniels will be a sufficient backup, and coach Scott will use Brown as temporary assistance at the 1. We don’t have an immediate need for a 2, since our team relies on spreading the floor, rather than creating shots cutting/slashing, etc. (JuJu WHERE ARE YOU).

I’m more concerned with our backup bigs (esp. 4). Our team is a jump shooting team, so it’s difficult to play against strong ‘hold-down-the-fort’ teams, especially during the playoffs.

I heard through the grapevine that Janero Pargo is coming back to the US. Is that true? If so I think we should make room for him. Then I will have more faith in our bench.
