  1. How could I forget?

  2. Holy crap! Remind me to sell my lakers tickets next year like everybody else in section 119. I wanted to go at the half went the Kobe manlove fest was at an unbearable level. TT6 you should be grateful that you are far, far, away from the dump that the baby Hornets dropped in their diaper. DBrown should be chained to the bench.

  3. Also, FREE MO PETE

  4. $nave– that’s why, even though I knew we were losing or maybe because of that, I laughed when Posey threw Kobe on his ass. I was all, “HEY! He didn’t even touch–” And then the replay came on, and I just cracked up. Oh yes he did. On purpose. And it was great.

Those fake Lakers fans who crawl out of the woodwork just for these games are such a joke. They aren’t even basketball fans, because they can’t buy tickets for the team that actually plays in this town, just the only guy in the league they’ve heard of.

  5. Kobe was pushing and pulling Posey all night. That they called a foul and tech on one play on Pose was ridiculous. Also, people at other sites are saying Kobe torched Pose. Bullshit. Kobe made several shots that he had no business making. But that’s why he’s awesome. Like him or hate him, he’s awesome. Bastard.

byron scott needs to wake up. he played devin for all of the last couple minutes of an important 3rd quarter. as soon as mopete comes in he was instant offense. why toy with julian for 2mins after the damage had been done like juju was going to save the day coming off the bench ice cold and without playing a game as i can’t remember when.

marks not playing was great to see, but why all of a sudden byron. byron trash juju then plays him not long after. we need playmakers on this roster asap. with the brutal schedule to open january, something or a new offense or even showing you can adjust during and from game to game would be nice scott.

  7. two_tone: I like yours so much I am officially changing mine to yours.

  8. thank you. i’m just glad i can contribute something to hornets hype.

  9. devinbrownrebuildingneworleansfourbricksatatime is genius. Genius.

  10. mike james is averg. like 10pts a game since he left (sheesh). http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3577

  11. Mike James is also playing in a score-first PG system. I really think cutting Marks’ and Brown’s minutes in favor of Mo and Ju-ju will go a long way to fixing our problems.

  12. i agree about the adding mopete and juju to the rotation will make us a better team by playoff time, if the move is made early enough. byron can’t just insert juju when we start loosing grips and expect him to all of a sudden be the missing ingredient. changes need to be made now with a new rotation for players that deserve to be on the court and by putting them in positons to succeed with their strengths as players.

  13. Posey *did* get torched last night. Sorry, I love Pose… and I loved seeing him knock Kobe on his ass, but he did get torched…. in a sense. Kobe drained several shots right in Posey’s face, just like he did last time to ice the game. When you can’t stop a guy, even when you are defending him fairly well and getting hands in his face… I call that being torched. And Kobe making shots he had no business making? Yeah that’s basically what Kobe does isn’t it?

    Free Mo Pete

    Free Juju.

  14. @Caleb: As in last game, it seems Kobe relishes the very act of drilling shots in Posey’s face on purpose. He probably riles him up more than any other defender we have. I was going to say last night maybe that’s a bad thing– there are just those guys (who are not David West) who play better mad, but then, Posey’s also better than any other defender we have, so what are you gonna do? It was a bad night all around.

  15. I guess what I’m saying is that certain people made it sound like Posey couldn’t defend him, when that’s clearly not the case. Kobe is one of the few players in the League that are at times undefendable. If you do all you can possibly do within the limits of the rules, body up your man, chase him around, and keep a hand in his face, there’s nothing more you can do as a defender. Never once did Pose get left in the dust by a behind-the-back or cross-over move, he stayed with his man, kept his feet moving, kept in front of Kobe, and Kobe just hit his shots.

So I guess if you’re looking at it from Kobe’s POV, then sure, he’s just unstoppable. He could “torch” anyone. But consider if he was being guarded by J.J. Redick. It would look a lot different than what Posey was doing. Posey did everything he could, and Kobe hit his shots regardless. I give Kobe all the credit in the world for doing that, but I take away nothing from Posey for doing all he could.

  16. Yeah that’s why I said “in a sense.” It’s not like Kobe was crossing him over and beating him off the dribble, so no it wasn’t a torching in that sense of the phrase. Pose did his best… but Kobe had one of those Kobe nights where even the bad shots fall.
