Kobe is one of the few players in the League that are at times undefendable. If you do all you can possibly do within the limits of the rules, body up your man, chase him around, and keep a hand in his face, there's nothing more you can do as a defender. Never once did Pose get left in the dust by a behind-the-back or cross-over move, he stayed with his man, kept his feet moving, kept in front of Kobe, and Kobe just hit his shots. So I guess if you're looking at it from Kobe's POV, then sure, he's just unstoppable. He could "torch" anyone. But consider if he was being guarded by J.J. Redick. It would look a lot different than what Posey was doing. Posey did everything he could, and Kobe hit his shots regardless. I give Kobe all the credit in the world for doing that, but I take away nothing from Posey for doing all he could. Kobe drained several shots right in Posey's face, just like he did last time to ice the game. When you can't stop a guy, even when you are defending him fairly well and getting hands in his face...
