Hornets Hype

grassroots growing strong

He might not actually be a real person right now. He might not even be on the same planet as everyone else. Outscoring Kobe Bryant with 40-11! Make that the same planet as everyone else except Chris Paul (32-15!).

You know, to tell you the truth, I had a good feeling about this one. I had it all day. You ever read the Harry Potter books? The best comparison I can think of is when Harry takes the Felix Felicis potion, the one that makes you lucky, and he’s coasting through the day like, “Nah, man, it’s aaaaaaallll good. Let’s just roll with this.” And I can’t even explain it. I felt very relaxed about this game, very unstressed. And the Hornets just roll in and show us who they can be. No pressure or anything, guys. They did it with great performances. They did it with one of the best games of the season. (Three All Stars going off? Insanity. There was total insanity happening at the Staples Center.)

I’m scared to officially announce this, but the Hornets’ season might be out of beta. Looks like we’re scheduled to release on time after all. ;-)

It’s on. Tell your friends.

  1. The sky is falling message board fans are counting down the days before they can secure finals tickets after they said we would miss the playoffs.

That’s why I like HornetsHype. If you do hyperbole, you go positive hyperbole.

  2. I’m all over the hyperbole. You know we’re believers. There are all these negative doomsayers out there, “OH MY GOD DAVID WEST’S REBOUNDS ARE DOWN 4 RPG TRADE HIM NOW WHILE HIS VALUE IS HIGH”

    Yeah, what was that?

    Right. Thanks for playing, guys.

  3. Wait….who is this Harry Potter fellow you speak of?

  4. NOEngineer says:

DWest overcame a reedickyouless display of 3-point shooting by Kobe and Derek. Welcome back to the All-Star Team Mr. West! I believe you know Mr. Paul…..

Everyone played great defense throughout and rebounded well for most of the game. Hilton continues to surprise and impress, and Butler and Posey were pretty nice too.

  5. Posey has this uncanny ability to shoot crap from three all game and then drill a key one in a superclutch moment. Also, the Hornets are now 5-0 when I wear his jersey.

  6. I can’t say much other than the Hornets played really awesome, especially CP3 and West. You thought Kobe was in the zone? Your man, West, was unstoppable in the 4th.

Lakers decided to live and die by the 3 and the Hornets just played smart basketball. And CP3 was just performing surgery on the Lakers. You guys deserved that win.

Can’t wait for a rematch. Is there one more? I gotta check the schedule.

  7. i have not posted in a while but after last night i cannot help myself

  8. Now if we can win one against the jazz tonight that’ll really get us going, even though they don’t have boozer we need to show that we can stop them since we might end up playing them in the playoffs.

  9. This Jazz game being tonight is like a nice little gift from the schedule makers. Back to back? Whatever! More Hornets ball! Can’t wait. And with a nice chunk of “we’re beastly and confident” momentum too.

  10. Totally. And as commented elsewhere, CP needs to go off and get that Deron Williams-monkey off his back.

  11. I hope this helps DX’s bid for All Star game.

  12. I’m sooooo glad HOrnets won against those despicable Lakers! D-West ripped it up big time! :D :D :D

    GO HORNETS!
