@mW:Of course CP3 have nicknames! And so does Tyson.
We call CP3 “little baby” cause his last name Paul was sound like chinese word “baby”, and he’s so lovely that we call him “little baby”.

This link above was a discussion about his nicknames, we finally call him CP3 as you guys in US. But also we call him “little baby”, “King of hornets”, “black ghost”, “small cannon”(Paul also sound like Chinese word cannon), “sun of hornets” (The King is also the sun of hornets-_-|||)

Guess how we call Tyson? Wahaha, we call him “King of Boxer”, and also “bull baby”. We call him “King of Boxer” because his first name Tyson and he sometimes fights on court. Call him “bull baby” because he was a member of bulls. Call him baby because he is lovely, always like a child.

A lot of NBA players have nicknames, for example, we call Tyson Chandler “the King of Boxer” for the name of “Tyson”

Normally, we just call Paul CP3 just as you called.

@ Jonas: the HORNETS! Awesome. So glad to have you all on board. I’m also looking forward to another win tonight. I think we can definitely beat Golden State. Although, last time they were in New Orleans, the Warriors just hit just about every shot. Hopefully that won’t happen again.

So during the Olympics, the announcers told us that several NBA players have nicknames in China. Does CP3 have a nickname in China?

CP is one of the best players in the legue,hornets is a great basketball team.I like this team as well as all the guys.Though Peja and Tyson still injuried,hornets has win 2 straight games,several hours later,it will comes the third one,I still believe.
I am a hornets fan also from Hoopchina,hopefully people here can understand my poor English
