The more the Hornets lose, I notice the less people want to look at blogs. Well, the more they lose, the more I want to look at hotties!
And then there were four. If you missed the beginning (oh, the photo collages, the snark, the hotties who left us too soon!) you can still check out what happened in the 3rd round, and the Sweet 16 Pt 1 and Pt 2. And you can review the action that went down in Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, and Division 4 of Round One. There are many hotties. But only two teams can advance. What will they be awarded for making it this far? … A bigger collage! Yup. (I haven’t decided which would be better: expanding with more pics of the same hotties, plus a few who didn’t make the cut, or bringing in the whole back end of the rosters to do a true position-by-position comparison. Then one ugly dude could derail the whole thing. But maybe the stakes are higher in the Finals. I DON’T KNOW. Help me decide!)
#4 Orlando Magic vs. #9 New Orleans Hornets
Matchup Preview:
Rashard Lewis-in-the-pool runs up against Tyson’s hat. What will happen when two combustible (aka hot) substances collide? These two teams just took down the Hawks (I’ll miss you, Al) and the Pistons (Arron! AI– does AI truly count as a Piston?) respectively, so you know they’re strong. You know, it occurs to me that maybe the Hornets should have shown more skin. Now, true hotness is hot whatever you’re wearing, but Orlando brings a lot of chiseled bicep to this shindig. That presents a problem for this well-rounded Hornets squad. But the Hornets sure do counter all that skin with some pretty smiles. (And yes, I will defend to the death my inclusion of the David-West-with-a-busted-lip photo. It’s my fave one of him, ’cause he doesn’t look as good posed and, well, the battle scar brings a dash of badassery.) I’m sure some people are voting for the Hornets because this is a Hornets blog, but I don’t feel bad about it because I have long felt we had one of the better-looking teams in the league.

#7 Denver Nuggets vs. #19 Charlotte Bobcats
Matchup Preview:
I expected the Bobcats to be here. I did not expect the Nuggets. I would say they had the benefit of easy matchups, but the Thunders, Warriors, and Cavs weren’t exactly lightweights. Still, I’m kind of charmed by Melo and friends. Someone has to give Sonny Weems a regular roster spot next year, seriously. I have no idea the kind of talent he’s working with, I just wanna look at him. And hello, Bobcats, with your internationally suave, smirking style. We meet again. Rrawwr.

Having a rough day
Toughest one yet, but I think it’s gotta be the Hornets & Bobcats in the finals. The Magic don’t do much for me though I’ve long admired JJ Redick’s spiky hair… The Nuggets I’d put a close 3rd after my top two.
Position by position might be interesting but a lot of work. Screw it – it’s really Tyson/CP3 vs Meka/Raja. More pics of them is all we need!!!!
Who knew the Final Four would be so easy?
Hornets-Magic: How in the world did the Magic make it this far? Hornets easy.
Nuggets-Bobcats: Bobcats easy. No explanation needed.
The title game will be TC/DW vs. Diaw/Clothesliner Bell. I’m calling it right now!
Hornets would benefit if I added more guys. They go 7-8 deep. In cute, that is. I’ll probably just add a few more pictures of the hottie heavyweights that didn’t fit the first time.
I had to do eenie-meenie-miney-mo for Bobcats vs Nuggets. Must still be messed up over the Grizzlies’ stunning loss. Maybe the Hornets can trade Devin Brown and a bag of beignets to the Grizzlies for Rudy Gay?
If the Hornets could do that, it would be amazing on SEVERAL LEVELS.
