Kind of off topic but ESPN’s Sportsnation is running a poll on the best point guard. Colin Cowturd is one of the hosts on ESPN’s new show Sportsnation. They listed the results from the top 5 and CP was #1. If you check out the poll, you’ll see that CP has basically run away with it. But I was listening to Cowturd and while he said good things about CP, he also said that if he were in L.A. or NY, he’d be a superstar. See, this is what I’m talking about. Newsflash Cowturd. He IS a superstar. What Cowturd probably meant to say was that the media would acknowledge him more if he were in L.A. or NY.

@ ticktock6 if PBN isn’t embarrassed by their shameless attempt to manufacture headlines, they should be. They should be ecstatic that Paul even mentioned one of their writers on Twitter, when otherwise, they probably wouldn’t be mentioned by anyone. The fact that they are trying to paint Paul and the Hornets as villains isn’t fooling anyone.

I’m so annoyed, I won’t even add THEM to my shit list. THEY don’t even deserve any more mentioning.

I mean, of course, anything can happen. Chris Paul could get traded, LeBron could go to the Clippers, and Kobe Bryant could go to the Grizzlies. It can happen… but VERY, VERY UNLIKELY.

In the meantime, I can jump off a roof, too… but it’s very unlikely it’s going to happen. Still, someone will pick it up and put this as a headline, “BLOGGER IS JUMPING OFF A ROOF VERY SOON.”

Makes no sense to me either. Why do writers/media care where a guy plays? If he’s good, he’s good. No matter where he’s playing. CP3 has become a superstar IN New Orleans and they can’t seem to stand it. Sickening.

Mo– Also true. Look at LeBron. These types can’t bear the thought of great players in small markets. And it makes no sense. How many endorsements has LeBron James lost out on by playing in Cleveland? Oh right…. none.

It seems to me Tim Duncan has managed to have a great career in San Antonio. I wish there were more players like him.

Did CP sit down giving this guy a one on one interview or was there a bunch of guys with tape recorders? Is it possible he’s saying he didn’t say any of that to Thomasson because he didn’t actually talk to Thomasson personally? There’s got to be more to this than this. First of all, writers and so called reporters need to stop worrying so much about CP3 leaving New Orleans. This is what has them all going crazy with wanting to write sh*t about the Hornets. The fact that they want CP3 out of New Orleans.

$nave, I agree. I hope all players zip their lips when they see these guys around. The thing is though, the media are tricky. Have been for a long time and will continue to be. It happens from the pee-ons such as PBN all the way to the big wigs.
