We sorely need some points and not only from D-West, CP3…we need a shooting guard badly. I don’t know why we traded for Bobby Brown adn kept Devin Brown…and Mo Pete seems past his prime so we really need new blood and a slasher to the basket that can create his own shots. If we found someone along the lines of what Peja used to do (which is to swish baskets), then we’ll be back to how we were two years ago. Right now, NO really needs a trade. Badly.
(or maybe just start their rookies who seemed to do well last night in their limited time in playing)

If the first few seconds of the game last night when kobe picked Ninja Turtle (Devin Brown) clean and dunked it, if that doesn’t say we need Allen Iverson I don’t know what does. Or maybe that it took us till like 3 mins left in the third to even score a fg, please give me some AI.

I don’t know about A.I. comming on the Hornets. It would be interesting. Whats sad about A.I. is he was a supper pimp in the early 2000’s and is a questionable hall of fammer, but he will for ever be known as “practice” “practice” are we talking about “practice” I think all we need is practice practice all we need is practice practice!

I’m not a big AI fan, but anything seems like it’s worth trying right now. We can’t get any worse defensively than we already are, so we might as well try to outscore some people instead of just sucking on both sides of the ball. Iverson is also an underrated passer, because he does take a ton of shots, but he can move the ball, I’m not hating this.

@Raj: well, Byron Scott is insistent in running a two PG system, with two shorter guards, like the old Pargo/Paul line, only now with Brown/Paul, and ostensibly Collison/Paul, so AI, who is a combo-guard (though natural 2), would be perfect for what he’s doing.

This would be pretty cool. Exciting to watch as Iverson/Wade backcourt. But everyone denounced it because it’d be too small a backcourt. I haven’t been following New Orleans at all, but do you N.O fans think it could work? Do ya’ll like AI?

Well, word is Iverson can’t be traded until December 15. I think if we haven’t figured out anything at the 2 then, you might see something happen. With only one year on A.I.’s contract, it’d be hard to say how it could hurt. If it works, Bower looks again like a genius. If not, he’s out in April.
