OKC is lucky with the Thunder. They're so young and fun and starting to have a great year.

Great post - really enjoyed it. After many years as a Chicago Cubs fan, now Hornets and then those Thunder got to sneak into town, it can wear a girl out. Had to eat a good supper tonight - got two games again to run.

Yeah, most cases it isn't disappointed, but that one loss we had at Houston really t'ed me off for some unknown reason. I think it had more to do that I'm actually in Houston now and I wanted to see us take down the Rockets.

Redeemed that same week, but the damage had been done. But anyway with that said, I'm still relearning how to be a basketball fan, much like mW's great post.

It's usually not disappointment, is it? I'm fairly sure we're winning most of the close games. Stats, stats, stats, I don't know, I'll have to look it up later. That game last night was good for the soul. As Memphis inbounded the ball for their last shot the fleeting thought even crossed my mind that if they lost in the very last second, I wouldn't even be able to complain that much because the game was so much fun.

We are three games over .500 with a -1.5 points differential, however. Pretty much a direct result of all the close wins plus the high blowout losses the first three weeks of the season.

Nice post.

I'd like to see the statistics for margin of wins this year though. I swear I've never had this many heart attacks (both due to excitement and disappointment) in a season ever. The one game I've been to NOLA arena ended up OT, gameball Buckets. Amazing. Amazingly heart-palpitation-inducing.

Doesn't help that the Steelers (my NFL team) always end up +/- 2-3 points either. I should really get a physical after this season.
