I’m from NYC,and the rumors are that he’s interested in NY, but i love what he did for New Orleans and it’ll be weird to see him ina new uniform. i just wish that the Hornets can build to be better so that there could be key players that are championship bound and willing to take the Hornets to the next step as contenders– because CP3 doesn’t want to waste his prime on a a place that won’t trade for the good players…his need for a championship is evident and to keep him, NO needs to recruit better players and have the salary cap to do so.

I agree that he’ll be here. His momma raised him right. I’ll not believe he’ll behave classlessly until he does it to my face.

There’s something going on, but I think it’s some games to do force the brass to do whatever they can to bring us something good, which is what we want too. Maybe I’m being a Pollyanna, but I don’t care if I’m wrong. I’d rather be wrong trusting Chris that be right about not.

It’s all fear that we might lose our best player in our franchise’s history, but let’s not forget how much CP’s invigorated this team, this city, this sport. Regardless what happens, I’m certainly content with the energy and interest I’ve invested into watching Paul on court and only hope he handles his career with more tact and poise than James.

One thing I wanted to make sure is clear, especially after BDL’s ripping CP and the Hornets all together now style, is that I am behind Chris. I support him. I believe he can be great here, and will totally have his back and the Hornets’ back until he’s gone. And then, we’ll see.

But for now, I’m so sick of everyone reporting each “rumor” as if it’s equally credible as a reliable souce. Yeah, I “heard” the U.S. will invade Iran, but from my pet-groomer. Now, the dude who hears that from the Undersecretary of Defense, let me know.

Also, to BDL, this team is nowhere near its peak. Just wait.

That’s the problem. By letting his “people” start this shit now, he’s just taken away the main way they can PUT good pieces around him. Because now how can the Hornets wisely trade Collison? Thanks for shooting yourself and everyone else in the foot, Chris.

Excellent stuff. I refuse to believe CP is Vince Carter or Baron Davis. I’ll keep backing him until I hear this from his own mouth. He’s our guy despite his poor tastes in management companies, and friends for that matter.

Excellent post. I’m from Cleveland and I’m a Cavs fan, but I can totally understand how you’re feeling (except for that whole “winning a superbowl” thing… what’s that like?). I wholeheartedly do not wish upon your team and city what happened to the Cavs and Cleveland this summer.

Love your stuff. I guess one can call you the “conscience of the hornets fans”.
I love what the team has doen in the last drafts. On the one hand it shows Paul there is talent for the long run to be competitive with. On the other hand it is a chance to be good for the foreseeable future even without Paul.
